Attribution

Money that arrived without a clear owner. M-Pesa webhooks post straight to the ledger; anything the match ladder cannot place lands here — attribute it to a member so statements stay complete, or confirm it parish-level.

Imports

Bring the treasurer's books in from Excel: save each sheet as CSV, upload, map the columns, check the dry run, commit. A committed batch can be undone whole for 7 days. Committing any batch retires the sample-data flag.

upload → map → dry run → commit, one transaction

Projects & pledges

Building funds and harambees as first-class records. A pledge is fulfilled by ordinary giving in the project's category — balances compute themselves, and Elders get district follow-up lists in their portal.

Church professionals

Members list their trade or profession, so that anyone with a job to do — building first of all — looks inside the church before going out. Listings go live as soon as a member saves them; take down anything wrong with Hide. Members fill this in at registration, in the member portal and in the app.

Directory

—

When it is off, the directory disappears from registration, the member portal and the app. Listings already saved are kept.

Annual goals

What the Kirk Session set out to do this year — and how far along the parish is. Goals tied to an indicator or a project measure themselves from the monthly readings and the ledger; the rest are updated by the Session. The tick on each bar marks where we should be by today.

Meetings & minutes

Monthly readings

Fruit-counting for the kingdom ledger — baptisms, visits, households served. There is one reading per indicator per month for the whole parish: saving a number replaces the previous one, and a blank field leaves it untouched. Fill only the numbers your ministry owns.

Readings

these power the Impact view and the cost-per-outcome headline

Integration credentials live encrypted in the database — set them here, no deploys, no keys in code. Values are write-only: once saved, the screen shows only that a value exists and when it changed.

Presbytery & General Assembly

the parish governs itself until it accepts an affiliation — joining is by consent, never imposed

Announcements

Chairpersons, group secretaries and members send requests from the app until the weekly cutoff. Approve, edit or decline each one, compile the week's bulletin, forward it to the Media Team for scripting and the Friday voice-over, then publish it to the app. SMS goes only to members who don't have the app, and you see the cost before you can send.

Impact

The other column of the kingdom ledger: what the money bore. Group leaders record fruit in under a minute a month; spend sits beside it, and the primary indicator per activity gives the cost-per-outcome headline. Missing months show as gaps, never zeros.

What-if simulator

Rehearse a budget decision before the Session votes it. Move the levers; every projected figure recomputes instantly and wears violet — MODELLED figures never share a colour with counted ones. Adopting a scenario rewrites the budget with full history and a decision-log entry.
